Caleb sliced himself right above the eye while playing in the backyard on Monday. He ran into the end of a hammock post. Of course it was 10 minutes after the minor emergency clinic ($) had closed so off to the ER ($$$$) we went!
Caleb wanted a picture like Dad's. He said he should have been watching where he was going.
Now he'll have a scar to remind him to look where he's going!
After they were all done stitching him up, the doctor told Caleb he could take this kit home. Caleb got real excited and said, "A dissection kit!" The doctor was intrigued at his enthusiasm and started asking him questions. Caleb talked about dissecting a crayfish, a cow's eye, a pig and a cat. So the doctor said, "Wow, what do you want to be when you grow up?" Caleb said, "Well, I might be a doctor, but I don't think I would like doing what you just did."
All better!
He was a little nervous thinking how much it was going to hurt, but he said it wasn't bad.
