Bird feeder
We made little bird feeders this week.
It was fun watching Karis hang them on our itty-bitty tree.
She even tried to hang one really close to the ground!
Three- year old Biblical scholars
We recently asked Karis what her new verse was for Sunday School. They
start a new verse every month and had just finished Genesis 1:1.
Instead of replying with a verse she informed us in her cute 3-year old voice,
"We done wit the old
tessament. Now we on the new tessament."
I didn't know they covered so
much material in the 3-year old Sunday School class!

The thesaurus can be fun
Joel piqued Caleb's curiosity with a thesaurus game tonight. Caleb
came up with a sentence and then found alternate words for that
sentence in the thesaurus. He found that the end result can be quite funny.
The original sentence:
The old man drank his juice.
The old man drank his juice.
The post thesaurus sentence:
The ancient human quaffed his liquor.
The ancient human quaffed his liquor.

Doll Power
Great Grandma H made the girls Taekwondo uniforms for their dolls to
match their own. Now that Eliana has two green stripes on her yellow
belt, she asked her instructor to put two stripes on her doll's belt.
Her instructor thought that was great fun.

Pumpkin Patch Fun
We enjoyed a beautiful day at the pumpkin patch!
Going on a ride to pick out a pumpkin is always great fun!
The kids enjoyed all the activities at the pumpkin patch. Too many to mention them all, but I think the "Boo Mountain" slide was definitely a favorite. Karis & I even took a couple fast trips down.
