We all had a fun time visiting the cousins in Minnesota over Labor Day weekend. The kids just pair off right away and have a good time. The weather was perfect!
We went for a boat ride on the river. I'm not sure if Karis enjoyed wearing the life jacket, but she endured it.

I just caught up on your posts. Congratulations on the piano recital. I remember my first recital. I forgot my music at home and was in tears before the recital started. Luckily, that did not happen to you guys. Sounds like you did a great job. We should have pre-recital family recitals and you two can play for Julia and Rebekah and they can play for you. Just for fun and practice. We met a bagpipe player today in our neighborhood who is homeschooled. He was outside practicing and we really enjoyed listening to him.
