Tuesday Snows

The kids have enjoyed all the snow this winter. They had fun getting out and building their forts even though it seemed to always snow on Tuesday and cancel their fun art lessons.

Pretty Nails

Look at Karis' pretty nails!

She did them herself and was very happy. But... these pretty nails came at a price since this little two-year old didn't happen to have any supervision while at the spa. Let's just say she painted them on our light-colored carpet and left bright red polish everywhere. She even added some to the computer chair, a folding chair and a door frame. Urgggg. All is good in the end. Did you know vinegar works really well in getting polish out of carpet?
We love this fun-loving, very curious girl. But sheesh!!

Happy Bday!

Joanna's 11! Joanna celebrated her birthday in MN at Uncle Andy & Aunt Clarice's house. They have a birthday hat that she got to wear for the day.

Her birthday started with a yummy breakfast in bed. I believe it was Ian & Caleb's idea. She also decorated her birthday cookie which I forgot was in the oven and OVERbaked. Tasted good, but it was a bit hard!


We made another birthday cookie cake when we got home. This one was not overcooked!

Thanksgiving Snow

We went up to MN for Thanksgiving and the kids had a great time with the cousins and the snow! The kids went sledding in the driveway and also headed out to a big hill. We weren't prepared for MN cold, so it's a good thing Aunt Clarice had some extra gear for the kids to borrow.

Pumpkins and Candy

We had fun carving pumpkins at Scott & Rebekah's Annual Pumpkin Carving Party. Joel carved a "Warthog" airplane this year.

The kids had a fun time getting candy. Nothing too surprising there. Joanna asked Karis if she was having fun and Karis said, "Yes, my yike candy!"

Biking to the Park

We went for a bike ride to the park. Check out that blue sky!

The slide is fun when you do a train. The slide is especially fun when you try to get dad on board and they're on the kiddie slide!
