Usually there's a crew that goes on a long hike while we're on vacation. I got to join in this year since Grandma watched the younger kids for us. Ready to head out.

At this point, there were a ton of mosquitos because we were near a lake. Joanna had everything covered up except her face.
Some of us stayed and played at the base of the dunes, while others hiked to the top. There wasn't as much water in the creek bed as last year, but the kids still had a great time.

On the way home we saw a beautiful and complete rainbow. Of course, the picture isn't as pretty!
